As a fan of birds of the lakes and marshes, I’ve liked egrets for a long time. I’ve taken photos of one in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, another near cattle in Maui’s upcountry, as well as one at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago (along with another bird).
